Head over to DJ Kid Cedek Soundcloud page at 6pm EST today to download this deep heartfelt re-work of Delerium’s Silence. Kid Cedek made this in honor of one of his good friends who passed away not long ago. You might have heard this as his closing song of the night if you been out to hear him play recently.
I haven’t had the time to listen to all these tracks, but given the caliber of talent on here it should all be bangers! Ken_UF
From the Moombah+ Press Release:
The torch of the New Wave of Moombahton compilation series hasn’t been any brighter. Passed down by Walmer Convenience back in May, Moomba+ scoured the net and opened its dropbox for anyone creative enough to be part of this seasonal tradition. Many have submitted and little over a handful were selected. Each bringing their own sound and expression to Moombahton. The 12 artists in this compilation come from different backgrounds and bring something unique. Some of these artist might sound familiar to you, others you might have just discovered them. This is not just an ordinary compilation that accepted anything that came into the dropbox, but those that have put many hours designing their own sound to stand apart from everyone else.

This is one hell of a release from Primetime and D-V3KZ. If you are looking for absolute peak time floor filling moombahton, then look no further than the “Right About Now EP“. I can’t decide which of the remixes is the one to dominate because they are all so solid in production, execution and arrangement. It wouldn’t be a surprise to hear all of these played in one night and still beg for more. I charted a D-V3KZ track last month on my “I Can’t Believe It’s Not Moombahton July 2012 Beatport Chart” and I look forward to charting even more jams from D-V3KZ in the future. Ken_UF
Billy The Gent and Long Jawns are back it again with “Gent & Jawns – Holler” off the Mad Decent label. I think this will be even bigger, badder, and more dangerous than their last huge moombahton anthem “Vibrate“! Believe that! Included in the release are high caliber remixes from Valentino Khan and David Heartbreak . Add to the release a 128 bpm B-side called “Bugoff” and you have the makings of a hot mess of a release worth grabbing in it’s entirety. Ken_UF
