DJ Shiftee will be at the Hulsey Recital Hall Thursday August 18th, 2011 at 6 PM
There will be a lecture titled “The Stylistic Evolution of the Battle DJ” along with a scratch demo from DJ Shiftee in the UAB Visual Arts Gallery.

Here’s a video DJ Shiftee put together giving props to the history of the DMC Battle. It’s a very clever video and if you know the history of the DMC competition videos, you’ll appreciate it even more.
